Why we chose it?
Our coffee hunter Jordan Dabov selected Special Coffee Brazil #2 COE 2023 because it combines an extremely intense taste, a rich aroma, and sensual notes of mango, pineapple, and brown sugar that will take you to the tropical nature of Brazil, revealed in every cup. It is grown at an altitude of 1100m above sea level, which contributes to the delicate acidity of the coffee. |

Where does it come from?
The “Ecoagrícola Café” coffee farm is located in the Chapada de Minas district in the southeastern part of the state of Minas Gerais in Brazil – one of the most fertile for growing specialty coffee. The farm uses an innovative technology that irrigates only the roots of the coffee plant only as much as they need. This practice reduces water consumption significantly.

Best brew?
We recommend that you prepare it on Filter – V60, Chemex, in order to fully experience the complex fruit nuances and sweetness of mango, pineapple, brown sugar. If you make it with espresso, Mr. Dubov recommends stirring it 10 times and drinking it in 3 equal sips: the first 2 will be more intense with nuances of mango and pineapple, and the third will have a brown sugar sweetness. |
