The event aimed to help children and young people with disabilities and deprived of parental care
We are happy that we were able to participate in Cedar Foundation‘s yet another charity event. As you know, in the past three years, we have participated in their annual charity ball, which is held at the end of each year. However, we now had the opportunity to support the hybrid charity event Sky Is The Limit, held on September 29, 2021. The aim was to draw attention to disadvantaged children and their everyday obstacles, to attract more supporters of the noble cause and donors to create new opportunities for the most vulnerable.
The event took place at the Hilton Hotel and was broadcast on Facebook. The event’s guests watched the exciting story of one of the young people who Cedar Foundation takes care of. They also had the chance to support the cause through various donation methods. Among them was a charity raffle with attractive prizes, a quiet auction with unique photographs donated by artists in support of the cause and a direct donation for a specific need.
The actor and activist Stefan A. Shterev was the host of the program for the 3rd consecutive year was. The musicians from Paraglider cheered everybody with their music.
Over BGN 78,000 were raised during the event, live and online. With them, more than 100 children and young people deprived of parental care or with severe intellectual disabilities living in the Cedar centers will receive specialized care.
Anyone wishing to support disadvantaged children can do so on the donation platform, which will be open until 8 October 2021.
We from DABOV Specialty Coffee are extremely happy that we had the opportunity to contribute to Cedar’s noble cause and event with prizes for the raffle.
